for many, conventional methods of pain management do not provide relief.
For these patients, we offer new options. Our clinic specializes in interventional
pain medicine, which is a field devoted to the precise diagnosis and treatment
of pain disorders by fluoroscopically guided techniques and minimally
invasive surgeries.
Getting to the root of the problem
After a physician referral, we conduct a thorough assessment of the patient
to pinpoint the cause of the pain. This includes:
- Reviewing patient information and imaging studies (MRI, CT, x-ray).
- Conducting a complete history and physical examination.
- Using x-ray-guided diagnostic nerve blocks and/or discography to better define the source of pain.
Billing
We will assist as needed with the preauthorization process. However, it
is your responsibility to consult your health insurance plan, workers’
compensation, or Medicare for coverage information.
